I had a pleasant stay at a hotel just outside the city centre of Santander. The location was convenient, with a supermarket close by and the Feve rail link right beside the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and attended to daily. The hotel also had a cafe bar attached, offering affordable food and drinks, including local wine for just 70 cents. the cab fare to the airport was reasonable at 17 Euro.
One negative aspect was the lack of air conditioning in the rooms, with only a fan provided.
